Zuko 'Emzetkay' Ntluko(21) and Luyanda 'Lemzin' Kwepile(21) make up the Hip hop duo 'Gudfellaz'.
They all hail from khayelitsha site B. The crew Gudfellaz was established in late 2011.
They met in 2009 through hip hop circles, became friends and ended up doing music together with other artist at Ghetto rhythms, now known as Fireburn. They parted ways with Ghetto rhythms after a year of working there.

They then formed the crew Gudfellaz alongside Matto who had been friends with them for a while. 'Gudfellaz' ended up parting ways with Matto due to problems they were experiencing with him. 

The formation of the crew was inspired by common challenges they were facing in the hip hop game such as being undermined or overlooked by people they were working with, not getting gigs, features on mixtapes and so on. They then decided to come together to form a formidable team, where they do everything themselves. From managing themselves, to doing events, promoting and marketing their music. They are also looking at venturing into merchandising in the near future. Gudfellaz is not just a rap crew, its also an entertainment company.

"In our music we mostly talk about social issues that affect us in our daily lives. We also try and uplift the youth and encourage them to get up and do things themselves and work hard in pursuit of their dreams. Basically we are just spreading a positive message. Our style of music is very diverse. We try our level best to avoid being one dimensional."

"We have collaborated with some respected artists and crews such as Rivlin clique, Chapparol, King jnr, Kwanda Mchunu(DBN), Matic, Black scientist etc. We have worked with producers lsuch as Matic, Black scientist, Shaka Zulu(DBN), Dilaska(DBN), Inffa, Gary Arscenic, Maphetshana etc."

"Our first official single called "Mthande Naye" reached number 1 on www.bulletonlineinc.com/btunes .It was voted number 1 on so fresh and so clean and it is now sitting on number 3 on Headwarmaz top 5 charts(bush radio). The song "Mthande Naye "is receiving major  airplay at different radio stations like bush radio, ekhepheni fm(eastern cape), radio zibonele. Another song that is enjoying airplay is 'Get it done', UCT radio has been playing that song a lot. We are set to drop our debut mixtape in February next year, which will mark our arrival in the game."

"We have performed around Cape Town in local gigs like Juke box session with Driemanskap, Black sartuday, Kool out lounge etc. Park jams(allnyz,pass the mic sessions,sound masters street shows,heads and raps,etc) and festivals like World aids day .We have toured places like Worcester, Ceres, Stellenbosch, Grabow and Eastern cape."

"We have shared  stages with the likes of Ifani(JHB), Driemanskap, Ill Skills, Ian Kamau(canada), Young star, just to mention a few."
